Ke Nani Kai

Located on Molokai's sunny west coast in the master-planned oceanfront Kaluakoi Resort is Ke Nani Kai, a complex of 120 low rise condominiums nestled between the 8th and 17th fairways of the Kaluakoi Golf Course.  To compliment the resort, there are two championship tennis courts, a luxurious 60-foot free-form pool with accompanying heated whirlpool and BBQ area.  Several beautiful beaches are within a short walk.  A friendly management staff is available to answer any questions you might have during your stay.

Kaluakoi Golf Course

Voted "#3 Most Thrilling Hole in Hawaii - Kaluakoi Hole No. 3, par 3,184 yards" - Seattle Post Intelligencer by Tracy Cabot and Marshall Whitfield. Course architect Robin Nelson and NBC golf analyst Mark Rolfing helped finalize the selection and arranged the holes in the best playing sequence.

Kaluakoi Golf Course is a recently reopened and refurbished 18-hole Par 72 golf course designed by Theodore "Ted" Robinson that combines challenging golf with a visual experience that takes advantage of the unparalleled West Molokai views with beautiful ocean views and island contours with open rangeland blending with the untouched wilderness.

You will find "no waiting" for this oceanfront golf course. Using the natural terrain and narrow fairways, there are some tough bunkers and water hazards to maneuver around. The first 9 holes are at sea level with panoramic views over the isolated 3 mile white sand Papohaku Beach towards the island of Oahu in the distance. A stiff wind is often present as this course provides a scenic and challenging experience.

Wild animals resident to this area, such as, axis deer, wild turkey, partridge, pheasant and native birds can often be seen on the 160 acres of manicured Bermuda grass. Imagine the challenging tee off over a seemingly endless ravine and playing toward a cliff rising vertically from the rugged coastline!

The back 9-holes play up along lush green hillsides, over a tropical gulch and back down to the shore. Kaluakoi offers golf range, practice area and three sets of tees making this course playable for all levels of golfers.

There is a gift shop and small convinience store on the property, but grocery shopping should be done in Kaunakakai - see Exploring Molokai page for more details.
